Church Purchases Building in Camas, WA

By: Suzy Clayton

The building in downtown Camas that used to house Columbia River Bar & Grill at 304 NE Fourth Avenue has been purchased by Journey Community Church.  Greg Goforth, a licensed commercial real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Commercial Jenkins-Bernhardt Associates represented RVR Investment LLC with the $710,000 sale of their 11,000 square foot building.

Pastor Jay Held expects renovations to cost up to $1.5 million and be completed by Thanksgiving.  The church will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in February and currently meets Sunday mornings at Skyridge Middle School.  The church needs a physical place to call home.  The renovation will include a sanctuary, office space and classrooms.
